Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
To me, it looks like Reed won't be back here in BAL unless he realizes that he isn't going to get some big contract somewhere else.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
Don't forget LaRon Landry who got 4 years $24 million with $11 million guaranteed from the Colts. Ed Reed is friends with LaRon Landry. I'm sure that's the deal he thinks he should be getting.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
If we don't end up getting Doom, I'd offer him 4.5 a year to finish his career out, and leave it at that. He wont get more than that and will either sign or retire IMO.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
Why do you think we're offering less appealing? David Dunn might just be trying like crazy to get Texans to budge or get another team involved...
The longer he sits out there, the more chance I think he's back here. At this point, I'd offer 3 for 12 and let him pick from equal contracts..

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider
Greg Cosell on Ed Reed: 'I think if he gets a better offer, he'll go somewhere else.'
Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider
Greg Cosell on Ed Reed to me: 'I don't think the Ravens will push hard to get him. I don't know if Ed is into the hometown discount.'
