Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
Honestly the whole thing is making me sad. I love Ed Reed and all he has done for this organization, team and town. I totally understand him wanting to play, its what he does and he seems to genuinely love playing the game, anyone who has watched him can see that. I also kinda wish he had retired like Ray out on top having achieved the one important goal he had left to claim.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
BTW what did I say this morning. These guys in Houston don't know Reed like we do. It's funny to read those tweets acting like they had him in the bag today and now he's walked away, at least for now.

If he is shopping around, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lerners tell him to go fuck himself now.
They fly him in, wine and dine then puts their offer in his pocket for others to see?
It wouldn't shock me in the least if they tell him to forget it now.

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
Maybe Ed already has his mind made up and just wants to see what "woos" other teams will give him. Like other posters on here said, "nothing wrong with getting a free meal"...
Then again, maybe Ed is highly considering signing with Houston, but taking a bit longer to think it over... Retire a Raven (If they actually still want him) or make more $ in Houston...decision time Ed. lol

Re: Ed Reed to Houston?
I guess Ed is flying home on Southwest. If Ed realizes he isn't going to get a big payday anywhere (including with the Ravens), I really hope he just decides to retire. The injury he sufferred is still there and could lead to paralysis. I hope Ed realizes that it isn't worth the risk for a modest payday and retires. He could become a great coach if he chose to go in that direction.
