Okay, so, do I have this right in that you would have to subtract the 4.89 cap hit from the 8 that Denver was willing to live with Dumervil's salary being, to get an idea of what they would have to pay him to get the same amount of cap space that the originally agreed upon pay cut would have rendered?

I don't understand why everyone thinks so highly of Dan Connor around here. He hasn't really had a good season since 2010 now.

I'm with you. I almost think that he is getting mixed up with Conner Barwin. Dan Connor looks lost on the field.

DJ Williams or Karlos Dansby are the guys I'm hoping for atm. I think Dan Connor would have been a bad fit here.

Umm. No. Didn't want anything to do with Barwin, overrated as a passrusher and not good enough in coverage or against the run to warrant the money he got. I liked the idea of Dan Connor because he has shown great ability as a run defender in the past and would be pretty cheap, and I believe the Ravens can get more out of a player like him than the Cowboys. He'd be a really good 2 down LBer next to a rookie with more athletic ability.

I'm also for Dansby, if the price is right.
