Pretty much. Jennings will be useless with ponder throwing it.

He really slipped last year. We thought Reed went downhill; Wilson had Reed beat by a lot in the aging category.

Spaeth returns to Pittsburgh. A good cheap move for them IMO what with Miller ripping his ACL and Spaeth's blocking abilities. Now if they could stop their ADHD mentality at RB, they could have a decent ground game again....

...and Patriots go through with it and sign Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet. After they get formerly presented with the offer sheet, Pittsburgh has 5 days to match it or get a 3rd round pick. It is thought that the Steelers won't match the offer. If they lose Sanders the team will have Antonio Brown, Jerricho Cotchery and Plaxico Burress as their three remaining WRs plus a couple practice squad guys. In other words they have diddly.

    Isn't Sanders basically a slot receiver? Isn't Amendola basically a slot receiver? Don't the Patriots need a serious X and/or Z receiver?

    Incredible.

Just shows you how desperate teams can fuck up the curve for everyone else.

Mike Wallace was seriously overpaid too.

Bit nearly $10 mill per season for a 30 year old receiver coming off of an injury riddled season...wow.

Sanders is kind of a tweener, but in the Patriots offense he could be both.

Pretty dick move by them to do that. It rarely happens.

Not surprised. They effed the Giants over last year with Jake Ballard.

The Patriots like hurting rival teams like the Steelers, Ravens, Giants etc, he's always believed in that. Why do you think he traded up infront of us to get Hightower last year? Hightower would have made the Ellerbe loss seem like nothing. Oh well.... Upshaw looks like a good player anyway.

The draft doesn't bother me as much as a move like this.

This is just a flat out a big "F You" to the Steelers.

Bah the weaker the Steelers get the better. We all know the Patriots are going to nickel and dime us up and down the field anyway.

I agree. I dont want the Steelers to get stronger or stay strong, but I dont like the precedence it sets. It has kind of been an unspoken thing that teams just flirt with rfa's, but dont do anything else.

How is it a dick move? Do you think it was dick move when the Browns signed Kruger?

Man, that is one disgusting Steelers receiving corps without Sanders. That 3rd rounder is almost a 4th rounder. I'm curious to see what the Pats signed him to. Most feel that the Steelers will not match, whatever it is.
