I'm pretty sure Vickers was on IR from his back surgery. This move gives the Boys some cap space; I don't think they'll add a FB.

Just heard on Total Access they've already announced they'll be going with a two TE formation. No FB.

Wins only matter, because they weren't talking about Flacco. Otherwise, they'd have been talking about how wins are a TEAM statistic and how Joe's inconsistent in the regular season.

If a long-term Ravens/Pitta contract is going to happen, it's going to happen before training camp. It is NOT going to happen next off-season.

My son is a Lions fan so we watch all their games. Last year was painful. As much as I want to encourage him to watch football it was tough sitting through some of those games. From what I saw the Lions need a new offensive philosophy. They really should have gotten Ken Whisenhunt when the Cards let him go. That's exactly the guy they need for that offense.
