Now I'm hearing the next likely deal is $5M for Keenan Lewis in NO.

Revis must be pissed. And Cary.

Hell at these prices the Ravens should stock up on a decent CB in case Webbie isn't ready and Jimmy can't elevate his game or is hurt again.

Steelers getting weaker. I like it.

Virtually no chance Cary matches, much less exceeds, the 3yrs/$15m deal the Ravens offered last offseason. He's got to feel pretty unhappy right now.

Not everyone can bet on themselves and win like Flacco,

    Cliff Avril lost out.

    Cary lost out.

No way Cary gets more than Sean Smith.

So the Sean Smith deal is 3/$18M, a $6M avg.

Still, it seems like not long ago top CBs were getting $8-10M avg.

Hell we gave Webb 6/$50M. or $8.33M avg.

    CB has plummeted.

That Webb deal looks kind of bad right now.

His cap #'s in 2014-2016 are BIG. But the deal looks to have low guaranteed $, so that is good. That Webb deal looks prime for restructuring if he can come back and perform this year.

Seems like they have a lot of young talent. Even in Bowe is controversial.

Man look at the deals Carr and Finnegan got last year compared to what CBs are getting this year.

They were seeing $10Mper with $26M guaranteed.

    Now $6Mper with ~$11M guar.

    Nuts.

Ravenswintitle has it right. The case of Matt Cassel was addition by subtraction. At least Smith can complete some passes and not turn the ball over.

why are we comparing Sean Smith with Webb, Carr and Finnegan? He may be the best CB out this year, which is debatable, but hes not in their class. theres a reason they got what they did and hes getting what he did.

Agree. After this year(5.385m) they'll evaluate Webb's contract. 3 years of 10.5m and 11m is steep if his play drops off. Especially considering quality CBs are getting much less.
