I mentioned in the other thread that he has a $2.1 dead money figure this year and $4.3 next year. That's a lot!

I said it earlier this offseason, when someone (jokingly) suspected Linta of being a Steeler homer and just trying to drive up costs for Ravens with Birk, Gradkowski, and Flacco...he also represents Colon, and I was shocked at how much Colon makes vs his talent...and that's why that theory was bunk. If Linta was a plant for the Steelers, no way would Colon be making that much money.

I might be alright with that!
IIRC, there were a LOT of guys wanting Kevin Walter here when he was a FA. Given our history of Texan castoffs, it may be worth bringing him in for a meeting.

Yep. The Texans are basically our pro-farm team.

Browns are going to give Kruger a stupid contract. Just watch.

I don't like him going to a division opponent.

Hope the Colts step in instead.

To be fair, I like Fitzpatrick as a grizzled, smart, veteran backup. He's a gunslinger (I'd know, he was my fantasy backup for a bit), throws a ton of picks, but also a good amount of TDs.

If he were let go, I might want to take a look at him backing Joe up.
Not at all. I'm just surprise his GM threw him under the bus in front of another GM...that's all

A trio of Walter, Jacoby and Torrey? Not sure if that brings DBs to their knees.

This is unreal. LOL. Cutting all that meat. Sooner or later their going to hit bone and it's going to be quite painful. I read report that said the Steelers have restructed 11 deals since August 2011 resulting in nearly $55M of cap space. Doesn't include Woodley though.
