Re: Boldin rejects Ravens' offer, to test free agent market...
In Oz we trust. At least I trust him. As much as I would like for Boldin to stay, I feel confident that the Ravens FO has their 2nd, 3rd and 4th options already queued up. Or is that Q'ed up??? So no matter what, I'm not gonna sweat it.

Re: Boldin
I suppose, but Baltimore News Journal and USA Today don't usually publish rumors...

Re: Boldin rejects Ravens' offer, to test free agent market...
I don't think these stories are anything new from yesterday. I think Boldin rejected the Ravens reduced salary offer which led him to almost being released yesterday. The Ravens must be reconsidering another option or they would've cut him by now.

Re: Boldin rejects Ravens' offer, to test free agent market...
Yeah, the new rookie wage scale definately sucks donkeyballs. If teams didn't want to be in the position of paying $12 million a year for unproven rookies maybe they shouldn't have put themselves in the position of draft in the top 5 overall. I thought that the league wanted to discourage sucking for top picks, not encouraging it.

I don't think it's so much the offer, it's the apparent lack of an extension offer which is the curious thing.
Everyone knew that Boldin's salary was too high and before the playoffs, lots of people thought he was at least a candidate to be cut.
