The only "non-Raven" (ie, not a member of the org right now) who will get a ring is Cam Cameron.

I doubt OP is saying Heap should be given a ring for 2012 season. I think he's just saying it's a shame he couldn't have gotten a ring during his time here based on how important he was to the team for a decade.

I agree, and also think it's a shame Mason didn't get one.

    That list will be long...

Honestly, it's a shame JO didn't get a 2nd one. Mason, Heap, Gregg...Jarret Johnson, Corey Redding.

Disagree on JJ and Redding. They left voluntarily while chasing the big free agent bucks. Same goes for Bart Scott, Ben Grubbs, Adalius, Zibby.

ROH, yes. Sorry for the mis-phrasing... Bc

My mistake. I see now where I read that wrong.

Definitely a shame Heap was gone, same with some others who were mentioned.

There's no evidence of this, but I think JJ wasn't given a very high offer or anything. Think Cary Williams this year. We knew we wanted to get younger at OLB, and it came at a time when JJ's contract was up. I don't think he was loving going out to SD, that's just where the money was.

Corey Redding was only here a couple years, JJ was a long time Raven.

Todd was one of my favorite Ravens. He got killed going over the middle time after time, but as you said, was 2 years removed from the SB team.
No SB ring but would love to see Todd retire as a Raven and enter the ROH.

I can maybe understand the defensive players, we didn't have a place for them in the defense, and we felt like we could fill the holes with cheaper alternatives, but Ben Grubbs was rediculous. I won't miss a second of sleep worrying about him not getting a ring. We gave him every chance to be a Raven. We offered him a fair contract and really wanted, but he chose a deal that wasn't even that much bigger than ours to be the bounty ravaged Saints.

Being on a Super Bowl winning team always has a element of luck be associated with it. Yes, players and coaches all have to be at the top of their game - but it also takes luck to raise the Lombardi.

Some players are great, are on great teams - teams that just ran out of luck before the Lombardi could be competed for or raised.

They were drafted when Heap was still here and Heap was on the roster for their rookie season and Pitta has said that Heap taught him a lot about how to play TE in the NFL
