Any of these prospects worth grabbing??
Wrote an article about the 5 players Ozzie and Co. could pick. What says you? Let me know if you think any of these guys are viable options.

I wouldn't take any of those guys at 32. All of them are candidates for a trade back option that Ozzie is famous for doing. Matt Elam is a possibility, the rest are early 2nd round prospects to me.

Re: Any of these prospects worth grabbing??
I'd take Elam or Minter at 32...unless you can trade back just a couple spots, you run the risk of losing those guys.
Te'o...look, if we take him, I'll have guarded optimism. But as it stands now, I don't really want to take him. Just seems to have that overhyped sense. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd feel much better about taking Ogletree, Minter than Te'o.
Haven't heard much about Robert Woods.
John Jenkins sounds like the second coming of Mount Cody. Do we really want to try that again?.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Jenkins scares me as well... If he falls to us in the 2nd round, grab him!

Elam's a definite possibility at 32. He seems to be continually underrated and is better at coverage than people expect. Minter and Te'o are definite possibilities. I like Woods a lot. But not at 32.

Don't be surprised if this thread gets moved to the "draft room".

Re: Any of these prospects worth grabbing??
Nice write up kid.
#1 - I think Matt Elam is the only guy you have listed who is a legitimate 1st rounder. The rest of the guys are kind of fringe players with questions surround their athletic ceiling. However, there is definitely some good tape on Te'o, Minter, and Robert Woods.
#2 - Maybe it's just me...but IIRC, Ozzie has only drafted 2 Pac-10/Pac-12 receiver (Devard Darling and Demetrius Williams). I don't know why, but when it comes to receivers Ozzie doesn't seem interested in PAC guys. I'm sure that's just me drawing unsubstantiated conclusions, but it is well known that Ozzie likes him some SEC guys.
However, I do agree with you that a round 1 receiver is not completely outlandish and an absolute possibility. Like I've said in other threads: The Ravens could be looking at the 6th or 7th best defensive lineman...or the 2nd best receiver. What has more value?Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Any of these prospects worth grabbing??
I'd be perfectly fine with him too. Or taking a flyer on the Da'Rick Rogers dude.
My personal order of WR preference would be:
1) Austin
2) Hopkins
3) Swope
4) Hunter
5) Rogers
Obviously some of those guys are potential 1st rounders. I doubt we go WR in rd 1...but who knows.
