Re: Ravens Free Agent Possible Add / Drops

He always plays like a beast against us. I can't imagine him playing for us against Pitt. He is probably quite bitter.

Clearly our FO liked him - he was on our squad for awhile.

    Steelers fans are gonna puke.

I'd be up for it just to see them cry and complain.

I'd have no problem at all with Harrison here as long as it's a short, lower/incentive laden deal and we can monitor his snaps...IMHO, he is no longer a full time player.

But I definately think a healthy Harrison even at his age is significantly better than Kruger.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I'm personally in two minds about it.

he could be a great situational player. he is 35 but only 8 seasons on him. He had a weird career early on. He has had injuries lately but he had a late start to his full time gig.

    plus he has playoff/sb experience

I think he'd be more than just a situational player. He is still by far one of the best edge setters in football, it would be 50/50 on snaps between him and Upshaw.

it all depends on his health. i agree he could contribute a lot.

but like i said i'd like to see it just to hear Pitt fans piss and moan. it would be hilarious.

the ravens win the SB and sign harrison? they'd be hating life.

Lol...seriously. Might as well nab those Houston escapees when we can. They haven't been drafting in the top 10 now for a few years so the talent exodus will cut off for a for a like amount of time.

I have been hoping for Connor Barwin and his name is mentioned here as a possible cut.

He had an off year last year but I'd love to see him in purple.

I think he would be near dominant in purple.

He would look mighty fine in purple for the right price
