Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread

I'm reading that Tyler Bray looked the best out there as a passer.

Bray could be a dark horse 1st rounder.

Apparently a heart issue has been detected for Star.

It is crazy having your entire career based on health issues.

I was blown away -- not by the speed, because his game is what I'd describe as "scat back / speed specialist." I knew he was really fast, but I thought that's what his whole game was from the games I saw.

But when I saw how built he is, I couldnt believe it. He's frickin burly.

His running style in games is pure speed, but with that build you'd think he could expand his repertoire. They had a lot of good backs at Arkansas, so maybe he just had a certain role to play. But with his build, I'd like to see what else he could do besides run sprint-draws and stuff.

Ravens to meet with Kevin Minter. Would be another solid first round option.

Just saw that hopefully he's going to be ok.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

No doubt. I'd describe him as the most prototypical QB in the class. Had some injuries and did a few dumb things, certainly not a Luck or an RG3 in terms of maturity or leadership at this point. But he's big and can throw it all over the field.

I think he's got the best arm out of anyone else in the draft

Teams fall in love with the big arms.

He and Glennon...the both have that elite arm that teams drool over...they are both going to go earlier than people think.
