Your Keys to Last Season and How They Worked Out
My two were:
1) Improved Pass Rush
2) Catch the Ball
#2 was definitely a key to our season. as far as #1, I suppose it was better against Denver and NE, and probably not as necessary against SF, as they were trying to control the edge more......?

Run the offense through Joe Flacco. I posted thread after thread about it.

Fire Cam was my biggest gripe. We all seen how that worked out.

Shots of Crown Royal Maple during the playoffs.
Worked perfectly.

Re: Your Keys to Last Season and How They Worked Out
1) offensive line performance
2) mentally tough team
there is no use having skill players if your OL can't allow a paly to develope and there are a lot of other teams in the league that have more talent than the ravens but they do not play as hard or as a team like the ravens. watching brady and manning take the fall in the PLAYOFFS was strange to ravens fans who see flacco stay in the pocket until the last second and take a hit. the concern i had about the SB was that the 49ers were a tough team like the ravens. the difference was the ravens heart.

Oline play,
better downfield offense,
defense getting healthy.

Surprised nobody has mentioned special teams.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Re: Your Keys to Last Season and How They Worked Out
McKinnie was huge, pun not intended. I was hoping Harbs would eventualy see the light and get this guy back on the field. Along with Caldwell's emergence, having BMac back changed the whole dynamic of the offense IMO. It's really something what a QB (and esp one with Joe's gifts) can do when he's got time in the pocket.

Re: Your Keys to Last Season and How They Worked Out
1) Let Flacco loose...happened game 1....then after Cam was gone
2) Avoid injuries......I am still stunned we won the Bowl with all the injuries. Especially in a pass happy league with Suggs at 70% and Ngata at 75% and NO WEBB. The D performance vs NE was just stunning.
