Re: B/R NFL 1000: Top 65 Quarterbacks
Also, since he made the list...I'm sure Cincy is going to retain Bruce Gradkowski, but if the money was right, I'd LOVE to bring him to Baltimore.
#1 - Gino's brother!
#2 - Always liked him coming out of college, VERY solid backup..

Re: B/R NFL 1000: Top 65 Quarterbacks
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Drew Brees
3. Eli Manning
4. Joe Flacco
5. Peyton Manning/Tom Brady
Anyone who says anything other than this is clueless.
Playoff stats:
Flacco: 18-2 td/int in past 3 years (19-8 total)
Drew Brees: 22-4
Eli Manning: 17-8
Aaron Rodgers: 18-5
Everyone else? Shitty in comparison. The elite 4 is undoubtedly Flacco, Eli, Brees, and Rodgers. Because guess what? The playoffs freakin' matter. Much more than regular season.

"Solid playoff run". Understatement of the century.
Outside of a few weird rankings...has anyone noticed how deep the league is with quarterbacks? I'm shocked by how many legitimately serviceable QBs were so far down the list. We're definitely in a golden age of QB play that transcends rule changes.

Re: B/R NFL 1000: Top 65 Quarterbacks
Any QB list that has Flacco listed behind Matt Ryan loses all credibility. Ryan can't hold Flacco's jock strap.

I agree the the 6th ranking, but what the hell are they smoking to put Matt Ryan ahead of him?

Re: B/R NFL 1000: Top 65 Quarterbacks
LOL at Matt Ryan having as strong of an arm as Flacco.
If they are ranking arm strength on a scale of 20...Matt Ryan should be around a 14-16 at best.
Just watch the playoff game against the Niners. Dude's passes were D-Y-I-N-G after 15 yards unless he put a ton of air under them. To make matters worse...he plays in a dome.
I just don't understand.
Some guys are just destined to be media darlings I suppose.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: B/R NFL 1000: Top 65 Quarterbacks
"Brady (6'4", 225 pounds, 13 seasons) has never been known to have a big arm, but he makes up for a lack of raw arm strength with great mechanics and timing. Watching Brady throw in the 10- to 20-yard range, you see ideal velocity on the football. His downfield passes aren’t rocket-launched, but he throws with good height, and his deep passes don’t lose velocity as they travel. That’s the mark of a strong arm, even if he doesn’t have Jay Cutler-like strength."
So they are saying he doesnt have the best arm strength but to put him number one on this list they had to give him 19/20 in arm strength.
