Re: Frank gore "we were the better team"

Man they are quickly becoming a team nobody outside of San Francisco is going to root for. What a bunch of dicks.

    That he'd say that.

We were spewing the same thing in last year's AFC champs. Doesn't change the result though......

    Awesome blog once more.

It feels good to be champs. :D I've said it before; I almost envy people who have NO stake in a team (any sport). I was a wreck. Heart rate and voice were visibly affected.

And when that final whistle blew; it was as if all these demons and pressure that were haunting the team (particularly Joe) and us fans had just been exorcised (think the way a demon in the tv series "Supernatural" leave their hosts).

Fucking aye! We're Champs Raven Nation! :D

Sorry to say this, but for the players, one needs look no further than the coach:

Jim Harbaugh, I still respect him a bit, but he is a big whiner! And it rubs off on his players.

Yeah, I'm sure we, AS FANS, would've been screaming about this or that not being called. But as coaches and players, you own up.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Not mine. That's a fine attitude to have. They played a hell of a game and came up a bit short.

The Ravens and Ravens fans felt that way about the AFCCG last year.

Overall, the Niners might have been the better team, talent-wise. They didn't have the experience, especially in pressure situations like the playoffs, or the will to win that the Ravens had. In short, they didn't have Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Anquan Boldin, and Joe Flacco.

Where it mattered the most, the Ravens were better. The scoreboard reflected that.

What is Gore supposed to say?

Look, I get that the Niners were getting a little chippy out there when the Ravens were shellacking them, but let's be real here guys...the Niners made it a game in the 2nd half and they did leave a lot of plays out on the field.

Regardless, they didn't win. And that's how it goes sometimes.

They've got a great future ahead of them with Kaepernick though. That dude got rattled, but he may be the best dual-threat QB in the NFL right now. Better than RGIII, better than Cam Newton, and better than Wilson.
