Awesome! I've heard our guys have been laying low and not partying. Hope that's true. They can party all week after the game!

    Good.

Hope they're yucking it up and having a grand old time.

I said I hope they got hammered.

That severely fucks up your stamina for a day or two.

Good or bad, these guys sure are confident. Listening to Kapernick interview they asked him what was the thing he was working on most and he said trying not to be over confident. They obviously think they're gonna roll all over the Ravens

It probably doesn't mean much, but I am glad that it seems our team is the more focused...

    Suits and ties
    No late night goofing off
Cool and loose at Media Day

    Go get it Ravens!

Just got back from the bay area last night and that is the sentiment out there - the team and fans, of course.

49ers haven't faced a Defense like the Ravens in a while. I'm hoping Pollard gets a nice clean hit on Gore and Kaepernick as he did on NE' RB (Ridley?).

Did he say that in a "I'm always confident, but I'm trying to be realistic" way?

no it was more about having an extra week and what to do with the time. Since he's already convinced he knows how to beat this defense, his challenge is not being too confident. No doubt he thinks they've figured this thing out

Its just the way he plays the game.
I give Kaep two rushing TDS, Vernon Davis a TD, and throw in a FG.
    I have us winning 28-24.

But we can't give them anything on STs and defensive TDs, obviously are out.

I'm a little surprised about some of the actions of the Niners this week, considering I thought Jim was more of a disciplinarian. The main thing that grabbed me was the way the Niners were dressed for the flight in, and all of the family members that were on the plane. I'm old school, and I think you wear a suit and tie on what is considered a business trip. I think the family should fly in later on another flight. I know the Niners had a longer flight, but they also had a 747, and our guys went to a rally in the rain before leaving. John also seems much more relaxed than Jim. I think it all bodes well for us.

Yeah, I think 3 AFC championship game appearances and 2 losses ahve prepared us well for this stage. More than the 9er's, whether that matters or not who knows.

There is only so much a coach can do.....the players have to buy in and do that themselves.
