New BSO Ravens Fight Song: "Hail to the Ravens"

So the BSO released a new Ravens fight song today called "Hail to the Ravens."

I think our friends down to the south may have a bit of a problem with the song title, but they'll get over it.

I think it adds a touch of class to this brutal sport.

What do you all think? See below...

Nice effort and someone's heart is in the right place, but the lyrics look about as easy to memorize as the Gettysburg address.

Like Artillery, it lends dignity to what would otherwise just be a vulgar brawl...

I'm just glad it wasn't a re-working of Hail to the Redskins. Wish they'd pick a different name, but great!

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Ravens win, soon coming to the Lyric, an opera devoted to the 2012 Ravens season. The great bandleaders, music greats, and composers would be proud(I think). Goes to show what class the people of Baltimore have and how well the team is loved. Small market city with fans who have big hearts that love the Baltimoe Ravens. Definitely the best football fan base in America.

Definitely agree. The fan base here is outstanding. The song is a nice effort, but I too wish they would have picked a different name.

I dunno about the Deadskin fans, but there's this French guy named Georges Bizet who's probably even more pissed. Of course he's also dead...

Then again, I know at least one Carmen who'll be watching Sunday night from Brooklyn NY wearing a Ray Rice home jersey, so it's all good. FORZA I CORVI! FORZA I PORPORANERI!

I love it! Great job BSO! Well done, fun and full of pride.

And to those Ravens fans giving a thumbs down to the BSO using their incredible skills to cheer on the Ravens; come on man...
Everybody's talkin' at me; I don't hear a word they're saying; Only the echoes of my mind

I'm going where the sun keeps shining; Thru' the pouring rain; Going where the weather suits my clothes

Banking off of the North East winds; Sailing on a summer breeze; And skipping over the ocean like a stone

    ^^^This.

Those who complain that "the lyrics are too complicated" should note that the Ravens already have you covered with "7-Nation Army".

And to the tone-deafs who wouldn't know real music if it snuck up behind 'em & clocked 'em with a G-clef...c'mon, man!

    That was great!!
    The singer was wonderful!
So much better than the Bmore police department which was weird.

I can definitely see the difference between the Nike and Reebok jerseys.
