Kickers - yes they're players too

no one is really talking about the kicking game but tucker > akers IMO. tucker has major confidence right now while akers had 2 weeks to think about his missed fg against the falcons and sucking the whole year. i think both kickers can kick it out of the end zone so that's a positive for both. overall i like TUCKER

p.s. andy lee is a great punter and so is koch so thats a tie.

I'm definitely taking Tucker over Akers. Akers has been missing everything.

Tucker all day!!! Did you see him flowing? Love the young man. He is a Raven.

Tucker is the better kicker, Akers is ok, but he has sucked this year. Hope it continues.
Hope tuck boots all kickoffs out the end zone. GO RAVENS

yeah I hope they ask Akers to make a clutch kick or two... I don't like his chances

Stuck in mind is the Denver game, I don't remember a kicker loosely joking around and grinning at such a pivotal moment. If the game comes down to kicking, we got it.

Can you believe that in 2012, David Akers made a 63 yard FG? And it WASN'T in Denver?

I was watching a video w/ Tucker and 3 other players. Dude is hilarious, he's all , "Guys, I'm flexing so hard right now you don't even know". Funny as hell, I he's here for a long time.

Imagine how this guy is feeling right now too.

UDFA Rookie comes in and TAKES the starting job right away from Cundiff. I know he blew it last year but he played up to par in pre-season.

Clutches it up all year long actually winning more than a few games for us (including the legendary Denver Game)

And is now part of a Super Bowl Team.

There is absolutely no fucking way we are playing in this Super Bowl with Billy Cundiff.

    Thanks a lot Tucker!

Tom Matte always said FG kickers are not football players but he sure loved it when Jim O'Brien won SB 5 with a FG
    with 3 seconds remain.

He owes his ring to the kicker.

Lee sometimes will out-kick his coverage with a low line drive, so watch out for Jacoby Jones and a big return.

Yea, remember the Koch punt in Denver that put their backs vs the goal line when
Jimmy made that great open field tackle?

It was a turning point in the game.
