Can the Ravens just lock themselves in a closet....
for the rest of the week?
Because the team is starting to look like a freak show.
Between Ray Lewis and all the excessive hype and now the deer antler shit... Joe's "retard" statement, then Ed Reed's statements about Ray probably playing 10 games next year and "I played football so my son doesn't have to" comment, to Mike Flacco quitting pro baseball to try to get into the NFL when he didn't even play in college.... is getting a bit ridiculous. No wonder the world love to hate this team. I'm even shaking my head.
The Ravens need to shut up and hide, because the media is going to set them up and throw them under the bus every chance they get.

I don't think they much care how these things are perceived. We are the only ones who key in on this.

Mike Flacco isn't a Raven.
Calm down, people can use it to hate on the Ravens all they want...
Know who doesn't give a shit about it?
The Ravens..
.
“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

This is no different than every other media week. It means nothing about the game. The players are just going to have fun with it and then focus on what actually matters which is winning.

I've never agreed with a message board comment as much this one. Regular journalism today is what the National Enquirer was like when I was growing up. The main objective today is to be the first to get their story out there, get the most hits and be the most controversial. Gone are the days where reporters actually did research and wrote factual articles. I guess it's just part of the downside of the internet and technology boom.

This thread is ridiculous, but the name calling is unacceptable. Knock it off please.

Re: Can the Ravens just lock themselves in a closet....
What is your point dude? You made one somewhat relevant reference with the Ray lewis deer antler stuff. Flacco had a brainfart and said a dumb word. But really, you were so desperate to back up your sensational headline with multiple instances that you call out a benign statement from Ed Reed, and the fact that Joe Flacco's brother wants to play football? Why should they be hiding from stuff like that again??
"Sorry officer, nothing wrong here. I'm just watching the Ravens game!"
