Profootball Talk Anti-Ravens sentiment...
That websites is horrible and full of anti-Ravens propaganda today, but it seems like Mike Florio in particular is on a hate campaign against Ray Lewis and Joe Flacco. Every article he and that site posts is anti-Ravens. What's their deal? Did Ray Lewis and Flacco sleep with his wife or something? It's just too much thinly-veiled vitriol spewed towards them to be just humor.
Look at these gems over the last 24 hours:

At when they do their one liners, the Ravens never win games, the other team (who they picked against the Ravens) lost them.

Florio is from West Virginia (Mountaineer fan...aka...dislikes the Terps and Maryland anyway) and a well known Steelers fan.

Re: Profootball Talk Anti-Ravens sentiment...
it's all about getting the clicks and he's getting them. I posted the FIRST comment on the Ray story and it was level headed and factual. Of course it has been deleted so they can make more room for the hate mongers. whatever...

Really?
lol get a grip people...Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I'm not going to lie.
It is VERY obnoxious when you have sports writers/commentators who are unable to put away bias and just produce a good solid product.
Florio's site is a great idea. It is essentially a centralized location for NFL rumor, speculation, and conjecture. However, too often he and his colleagues allow their bias to come through in their pieces and frankly you begin to wonder how someone can have a job, post shit on the internet AND have a contract with NBC Sports, and still know very little about what it is he is talking about.
In my profession, those guys are called shit bags and don't last very long.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Profootball Talk Anti-Ravens sentiment...
I don't see it.
He shits on every team. I know he was/is a Steelers fan, but when something happens with them, it is out on his site pronto.
This is just a case of being extra sensitive because we are relevant right now and there are only 2 teams that are relevant.
Trust me, at various times every single message board has a "Florio hates us" thread on it....even on the Steelers board.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
