PREDICTIONS: Super Bowl - 49ers vs. Ravens, score, MVP, and explain...
Ravens win.
27-17.
MVP: Joe Flacco
Ravens will throw on these guys. Key turnovers on defense will set up Ravens TDs. They'll get off to a lead, and the Niners will try to climb back. They'll run out of time. Rice and Pierce will have a limited impact, Boldin and Pitta will win the day.

31-17 good guys.
Joe Flacco or Anquan as MVP.My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

27-16 Ravens.
I think the Ravens will jump out early, but the Niners will get back into the game at some point before the Ravens pull away in the second half.
Flacco will be MVP.

What's the point of getting to the big one and forecasting a loss
28-14 Ravens
MVP Joe Flacco- 250 yds 2 TD's off some beautiful deep throws in a dome.
Ed has a happy homecoming with a Pick 6.

Very similar predictions here I have thought all week the Ravens win by at least 10, and really thinking 17.

Indeed!
A part of me, really thinks the game might not be very close though. I am being conservative on the score, but if SF turns the ball over, it could get away from them quickly. This is all just predicated on what I saw out of these two teams in the playoffs, and SF's inability to stop the pass.
Also, the schedule difference really gives me pause - SF playing the #24 schedule, us the #5. I looked back on the SF games and writeups, and boy they really feasted on some weak teams. IMO they had only one or two wins that I'd call "impressive", and some losses that were a tad disturbing.
Now the Ravens had some disturbing losses as well, but those came during a period of major injury issues. I think that a lot of people(mostly outside of Baltimore) are forgetting that before Ray and Webbie went out, that the Ravens were 5-1(and should have been 6-0 if not for the replacement refs) and largely considered the best team in football. They really have been a different team with/without Ray, not to mention Yanda, Suggs, Ngata, etc all having injury issues throughout the year. This team really didn't get healthy until the playoffs, and after watching all three games again yesterday, and being able to just watch them without the nerves and jitters, I got to appreciate the team for what it is - which is really just a damn good football team, and they were the best team in the AFC this year, that much was very clear in these playoffs.

Re: PREDICTIONS: Super Bowl - 49ers vs. Ravens, score, MVP, and explain...
Ravens 31
49ers 24
MVP: Joe Flacco 3 TDs, 0 INT
This magic season is going to have a magical end to it. Joe Flacco continues on his hot streak, carves up the 49ers secondary. San Fran has a slow start, makes it a game late, but then Joe Flacco throws a touchdown to all but seal the deal. Kaepernick never gets a big enough lane to make a big play with his legs. Ray Lewis retires on top.

I could see it 6-9 or 24-27. Either way the good guys win.
