    I don't see anything wrong with Joe right now. He threw a fine pass to Dickson, who is one of the worst players on the team, then another pass that was a difficult catch but one that Pitta should have caught.

    Come on...that was an easy throw, Pitt had his man beat by 5 yards and growing.

    HE had to dive and the ball slipped through his fingers.

    Should he have caught it? Maybe. It would have been a HELL of a catch.

    But if you ask me who had the easier play there...it was Joe by far...no pressure, guy running wide open and he overthrew his man and made him have to dive.
    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
