I believe every team would struggle with them.

Honestly he's been getting exposed all year. He's not really a top tier safety but benefited a lot from a great pass rush in front of him and good defenders around him in coverage.

He's going to want a lot more money than anybody's going to want to give him. I think the 49ers will probably let him walk.

    Are you sure?

Personally, I think we match up much better with the 49ers. We beat them last year. Yeah they run the zone read now, but I trust our renewed veteran defense to figure out how to stop it, and give our offense enough time to step up and exploit these 9er corners with the deep balls. Plus the fact that the Falcons would have an advantage playing in NO in a dome stadium....

Looks like we're taking on the Falcons if we win this one.

Yea, but many thought we'd struggle against Nicks, Cruz, Wayne, Demaryius Thomas, and Erick Decker.

I'm not saying that the Falcons aren't going to be able to throw the ball. Roddy and Julio are two of the best in the league. However, Corey Graham and Chykie Brown are playing really well right now...enough that I think that they could at least "contain" those two from making a ton of huge plays. The Niners' front 7 is damn good, but their secondary leaves a lot o be desired and that is what the Falcons are exploiting right now.

Personally I think Atlanta will be the tougher matchup.

    Re: NFC championship game thread

If 49ers get beat, look for some interesting calls against us tonight. Falcons-Ravens was listed as "least exciting SB matchup", though I don't understand why NE-Atlanta is better...
