It's for the end of one era, and the glorious birth of another. Sunset for our General. The dawning of the age of Joe Cool.

This game, this is the game we will look back on as the defining one of the 2012 Baltimore Ravens.

This game is for the Super Bowl.

    For all ye faithful,

Anquan rose up and spake the undying truth: we'll win the division. Thus, as it was spoken, his will be done.

Anquan rose up once more and proclaimed the vision: we'll make it different vs Denver. Thus, as it was spoken, his will be done.

Anquan rose up again and declared the premonition: we'll win vs Patriots. And so we will.

Book of Anquan, Chapter 11, Verses 12 to 14.

I was coming on here to post this...

For Tevin, For Art, For Bill Warble, the man shown in a Football Life with Ray Lewis, who lost his fight with cancer 6/11/12.
For vets like Ed Reed, Matt Birk, Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, who've never even seen the big game from the sidelines
For Jim Caldwell, dumped by the Colts just two years removed from playing in a Super Bowl

Let's take this road and ride it to New Orleans!

No weapon formed against us shall prosper!

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

    Re: What time is it?

Who would have thought how difficult it would be to get back here again? Same time, same place, same foe.

    It's Championship Sunday!

    It's redemption Sunday.

For all mentioned above, especially those who will watch with us in spirit.

But most of all, for us, for those who gather in Federal Hill, West Baltimore, East Baltimore, Timonium, Bel Air. For those in Dundalk and Glen Burnie. For those who wear purple in Owings Mills, Essex, Arbutus, Towson, and Annapolis. For those in York and Shrewsbury, in Dover and OC. For those at the Parlor and the Noizy Oyster. For those on duty wearing purple under their desert camos.

For all of us who got nothing accomplished at work this week. For those who made the trek to Foxboro. For those in Florida, NY, Chicago. For those all over Raven Nation--in Ireland, the UK, and all over the world, including one special fan following on the internet in Xi'an China.

For Fred in Fallston, Tony in Perry Hall and everyone else who lives and dies with our beloved Ravens .

For all of us. Let's do this.

    Let's Shock the World, Again.

    This.

Only a win gets us closure from last year. I can forgive all if we can ride this train to New Orleans then Disney World! If not, the sting remains.
