I remember that. The owner, EBW, publicly said Earl took my money and ran but then wrote a
letter of apology.
Earl said I carry that letter in my wallet every day.
I forget his name, but there was a third baseman management was pimping that wasn't
any good. Earl let him continue to play 3B.
Earl said I had to show the organization he wasn't any good so I just left him there-lol.
