Keep in mind to that Flacco started moving up in the pocket. That draws the defense forward in case Joe decided to run. Even Jacoby slowed down because no one thought Joe would throw that ball. Flacco's pocket presense also helped set this up.
Still, it was one of the best throws I've ever seen.

It was a great throw by that Awesome QB of the Ravens. On the run , that far, and high, Shoot when he caught the ball, i was high, lol. Great throw by Joe.

That calculates the "field distance". I'm curios as to the actual distance the ball travelled along the arc, from Joe's hand to Jacoby's hand. We would have to at least know the actual height the ball reached at top of the arc. I think knowing that measurement and the 64 yard measurement would be enough to figure out the actual distance.

Troy Aikman is constantly criticizing young QBs for not dropping it over the top like Joe did. Aikman should use that tape as an illustration of how to perfectly throw the deep ball.

That moon shot throw by Flacco was amazing! Reminded be of Jeff Blake. :)
