    Changes at 105.7 The Fan

Baltimore sports talker 105.7 The Fan is making changes. According to DCRTV Mark Zinno and Bob Haynie will no longer be doing the 1 PM to 3 PM slot at the CBS station, with Vinny Cerrato and Rob Long's 10 AM show adding an extra hour, running until 2 PM, instead of 1 PM. And with afternoon drive duo Scott Garceau and Jeremy Conn now starting at 2 PM, instead of at 3 PM. Also, Zinno moves to the 9 PM to midnight slot. All starting January 2.

Haynie will continue doing fill-in work for the station.....

Poor Bob.. A good guy and a ton of local knowledge..

As for Zinno, why does that guy get to keep his job at all? He's terrible.

I guess somebody knows where the bodies are buried.

Ugh, I need more Bob. Not a big fan of Rob and Vinny but I guess it's an improvement from the Mark and the Bulldog days.

Only became familiar with Haynie until he came to FM radio, but became one of my favorite guys to listen to on the station. I know it's sacrilegious, but Garceau is incredibly boring and rarely tune in, Jeremy at least keeps it interesting. Zinno getting a permanent spot over Haynie? :insane:

Haynie, Vinny and Rob would be a good show. I hate Zinno and Garceau. Vinny and Rob getting an extra hour is a good thing though.

Why don't we use his real name Mark Citarella

DITTO. You beat me to it. I was just listening to Bob on the way here.

Damn, that really sucks about Haynie. He's the best
they got and he's only doing fill in?

I only listen to him and Rob and Vinny's show but I'm glad Zinno goes to late night. He's worthless.

They could have least fired Jeremy Conn the stupid
Indy fan and teamed Haynie up with Garceau.

This is why I seldom listen except to the ones above.

Hey Tony - what does it take to get you on there.

Your'e better than Zinno and Conn any day. BTW Tony, we had a discussion
once on all the guys and the salaries. Scott of course is retired from TV 2 so
this is a second check plus his wife owns Garceau Realty so he's loaded.

Ron Burgandy does 45 sports plus a gig on 105.7. So that's an extra
    check for him.

So how much do these guys make doing a 2-3 hour gig? Vinny goes from
being the GM of the Skins to a short radio show. Someone said his wife
is a surgeon at Mercy Hospital.

Any idea on the salaries or can't you say. Anyway, you should definitely
be on one of the shows.

On air it is the stuttering, lack of knowledge yet know it all attitude that sux.

yet he seldom talks about his true expertise on the air

At least Mark gives an opinion... even though I tend to disagree with it a lot. Garceau is so milquetoast its unlistenable.

I liked Bob a lot more when he was on WNST.

I appreciate the support but time wouldn't allow me to do such a show even if they'd have me. I would be interested in a weeknight or weekend show again but not as a brokered program (which means we'd have to buy the time).
