Joe Flacco Earns 60th Career Win: Most All Time In First Five Years of a QB's Career!

With the win yesterday, Joe Flacco has officially won 60 games in his first 5 seasons. With this feat he joins the likes of... himself and nobody else as the ONLY quarterback to ever accomplish this feat. Going into the game, he was tied with Ben Roethlisberger at 59 games; now he's all alone: most wins in the first five years of a QB's career of all time! Congrats, Joe!

    That's really impressive.

And what's even better is I can't really see us getting worse next year, we should get a substantial lift with a decent draft and FA Offseason. That plus getting all our guys back from injury, an offseason not dealing with Cameron and I'm pretty sure we'll be in really good shape.

Even the equipment manager had more to do with those wins than Flacco...

Oh come on. Flacco didn't get those wins, the defense did. Also Ray Rice. Also Derrick Mason and Todd Heap. Also Le'Ron McClain. Please. Flacco just stood there while everyone else did all the work, gimme a break.

Oh lord no. We've got so many leaders that might leave us (Lewis, Reed, Birk, Boldin) and so many that might price themselves out of our cap-tight year (Kruger, Cary Williams, Jacoby Jones, Leach). I don't know how to roster will shake out, but I think this year and the last is definitely when we had the most talent.

I'll care about 5's accolades when he brings a Super Bowl to Baltimore.

I understand this sentiment to a certain degree, but in order to get to the SB you have to win enough games. Flacco has proven to - at the very least - be a contributing factor to 60 wins. That shouldn't be undervalued at all.

Flacco was riding on the coat tails of Harbs brilliant clock management, Pops D coaching, and Cam's genius play calling. How could he not win 60 games? ; )

Brady sits hit 1st season because he's a low round and high risk prospect and his team has a former 1st overall pick in the draft at the position. It's impossible for him to do the same thing in his 1st 5 years in the league. In the 1st 5 years that he played he wins 54 regular season games and 10 playoff games for 64 total games. 3 of those wins a Super Bowl victories.

But, we'll all cheer Joe because Brady doesn't count based on how this feel good stat is counted. When you are looking are the real elite players you don't have to justify their greatness with bullshit stats slanted to make them look good. Joe Flacco is a good QB but winning this many games in that time frame does not put him up there with the greats. Go bring this up to a Pats, Steelers or Giants fan as a reason why Joe belongs with their QBs and prepare to get laughed out of the building.
