    Re: Ray Lewis to retire.

I guess this is why Harbaugh deflected questions about Ray playing. He wanted to make the statement in his own way.

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Good to see him going out on his own terms. Rare luxury for NFL players.

    Re: Ray Lewis to retire.

i remember the special that they had with all of his prior coaches talking about Ray a few years ago, how Marvin Lewis would always pull his guys over to the side line to watch Rays dance. The away teams would always look forward to watching that as much as the fans did. Will be missed from the whole league.

he will probably re-appear in two years as coach.
If - When we win the superbowl this year Reed will probably retire as well after the season.

Just came to me: I was at his first home game and I'll be at his last. (And about 100 in between) wow.

Nothing against #Chuckstrong (for obvious reasons), but the emotional pendulum just swung back into our favor big time... Sunday is going to be an unreal day.. especially if Ray actually plays.

I think we all knew it would happen but man, it's really to tough to actually know that it's going to happen. This will mark the end of the 1st age of the Ravens. It will never be the same again

Not many NFL players get their number retired by their teams but you have to think nobody will ever wear 52 in Baltimore ever again.
