Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Bengals (Pseudo Preseason Edition)
Stupid 3rd down play call. Defense saw that naked TE screen coming a mile away, and Pitta had no blockers in front of him anyway.
Lots of bad, vanilla play calls, makes me think they didn't plan for this game at all, and their heads are also obviously not in it after that Rice penalty.

Burfict was getting up to continue pursuit of Flacco... What's Ray supposed to do? Sing him a lullaby.

I can't help but wonder what got Ray upset enough to do that.

The Bengals are going to blow us the fuck out. If the O was that vanilla, I can only imagine what the D will look like. Maybe taking the kids to a movie isn't such a bad idea.

Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Bengals (Pseudo Preseason Edition)
They wanted Pitta on a TE screen leaking out of the backfield, but it was a bad design as the defense saw it coming a mile away, and Pitta had no blockers in front of him. Flacco did not look downfield past the first read at all.
The Bengals are not a good team to run screens against as they rarely blitz and they play primarily zone coverage. This is a vanilla game plan that demonstrates the Ravens' disinterest in winning today.

Colts up on the Texans early, 0-7.
