Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Bengals (Pseudo Preseason Edition)
Are the Bengals playing any starters on D? Legitimately curious.

Gino made his first mistake of the game and got shoved over by Pecko, still an encouraging performance by him none the less.

Colts are zapping the Texans. That Luck kid is a big time player.

Time to give Ellerbe the rest of the day off... We need him healthy for next week and he's limping right now.

Re: Game Thread -- Ravens @ Bengals (Pseudo Preseason Edition)
This is why it makes sense to have Tyrod on the roster backing up Joe Flacco. If Flacco were to miss 2 games with a concussion or strained shoulder, Tyrod can come in and operate out of the same personnel and same system, but challenge the defense in a totally different way with scrambling and designed runs.
I think the Ravens need to get another QB next year in the draft or as an UDFA, but he would be the #3 developmental guy. Most teams carry 3 QBs now with the abolishment of the 3rd QB rule.
Tyrod would continue as the #2 QB and they could always insert some gadget/"Suggs package" plays for him.
