Ravens Vs. Colts: Sunday @ 1pm (Merged Threads)

If you are a PSL owner you may have seen this if you logged into your account on BR.com

I inquired about this with the Ravens PR staff and was told:

"The date and game time have NOT been set. To keep it simple, you saw a technical glitch with the notification system."

Just wanted to pass it along.

I think it's probably an uncertainty in final seeding, as we still have an outside shot at #3.

I have never seen it referred to as "Wild Card Divisional".

But I do NOT want a night game.

I think both Saturday games are technically "night" games.. It'll be dark by the end of the first quarter of the early game.. So the only team to get a real "day" game will be the early team on Sunday.

    We haven't lost a night game all year, 4-0. We're actually 4-4 at 1pm. 2-1 for 4pmish games. Make it 5-0!

I'm going to guess that this 'glitch' is a leak of sorts and the playoff goes like this:
    Saturday, 5th Jan, 4:30pm EST: NFC 6th seed @ NFC 3rd seed.
    Saturday, 5th Jan, 8pm EST: AFC 5th seed @ AFC 4th seed.

    Sunday, 6th Jan, 1pm EST: AFC 6th seed @ AFC 3rd seed.
    Sunday 6th Jan, 4:30pm EST: NFC 5th seed @ NFC 4th seed.

Saturday 12th Jan, 4:30pm EST: Highest remaining seed @ AFC 2nd seed.
Saturday 12th Jan, 8pm EST: Lowest remaining seed @ NFC 1st seed.

Sunday 13th Jan, 1pm EST: Highest remaining seed @ NFC 2nd seed.
Sunday 13th Jan, 4:30pm EST: Lowest remaining seed @ AFC 1st seed.

Sunday 20th Jan, 3pm EST: NFC Championship Game.
Sunday 20th Jan, 6:30pm EST: AFC Championship Game.

That's all dependent on Green Bay getting #2 seed. If San Francisco do, it'll move things around.

I hope you're wrong Tony. I'd rather not have that Saturday night game.

I think the NFL will give Brady and the Patriots the Saturday game. This way they'll have an extra day's rest for the divisional game the following week.

Nah.. the NFL wants the best ratings game at 4 PM on Sunday. And that = Brady. The only possible thing that could unseat the Pats playing on Sunday would be the Cowboys getting in as NFC East champ and playing at home. Then you *might* see the Pats on Saturday night instead of Sunday.

If that is true, the best ratings game of the first round - assuming things stay as they are right now - is Washington/Seattle with Griffin and Wilson going against each other. Those two have dominated media coverage for the second half of the season and I just don't see the NFL putting a NE/CIN game on in their best slot over that game. Brady is a huge draw no doubt, but nobody cares about the Bengals. The only way that changes is if we win and the Patriots lose, making it a Brady/Luck matchup.

Then again, my post here is probably all for nothing because I think Dallas is winning tonight anyway, so no Redskins/Seahawks game.

The time isn't set. If you prefer a Saturday night game at 8PM I can assure you that you are part of a minority. I'm sure the majority of fans would much rather have a 4:00PM on Saturday or 1:00PM on Sunday game.

What say ye Ravens fans. Are you enamored with an 8PM Satuday night game??

    I'm hoping for a 4pm Saturday game.
