I haven't heard a surprise yet. All these names were talked about for a long time now.

    Let's see:

    Lovie Smith
    Ken Whisenhunt
    Chan Gailey
    Norv Turner
    Romeo Crennel
    Andy Reid
    Pat Shurmur

    Am I missing anybody?

By the way, there will be plenty of OC and DC coordinators to choose from, if they are smart and wait it out.

Just seems that usually a few get another shot.
The ones that surprise me are Lovie, Wiz, and the fact that Pioli is still GM in KC. Also I'm glad I'm not a Titan fan

Pioli surprises me but nothing else does. Owners for the most part want success all the time. The real surprise is that Hunt is actually being patient with his GM.

Bruce Arians is getting a lot of interest from teams. He should just fly on out to SD and forget about the upcoming game

Arians is a shoe-in for one of the many open Head Coaching positions now open after what he did filling in for Pagano. He might have his choice of jobs.

Mr. Rivera is against the ropes, but hanging in there for the moment. We'll see if he lasts the week.

I think winning 5 of their last 6 may have saved Rivera.

Eagles will interview Falcons DC Mike Nolan for the team's head-coaching vacancy on Friday.

He could be a nice DC prospect. He played a more aggressive style of defense in San Diego that more closely resembles what Ravens defense stands for. If I'm not mistaken, he can run a 4-3 and a 3-4 pretty well. I'm not sure about that information though. My memory is slipping at the moment.
