Mind boggling isn't it.. funny how the Patriots castoffs can't do shit outside of Foxboro. And Pioli is responsible for bringing Cassel and his bloated contract to KC. He should have been fired for that move a long time ago.

I know the prevailing wisdom seems to favor Reid getting a top job.

But why? There seems to be a trend in the league of going after the younger coaches. Maybe they're out there, but I cannot think of a team where Reid is a good fit at the moment.

Gruden is going to do what Cowher did a couple of years ago. If he gets everything he wants he'll take the job. If not he'll say how much he loves TV and how he never was interested in leaving.

I can't see Saban coming back to the NFL. He's pretty much on the throne as far as NCAA coaches are concerned. And it's not like the Browns are going to pay him much more than he makes at Alabama.

Gruden's agent wants to keep the name in the press. I doubt he's serious about a coaching gig, just at keeping his name out there. Evidence the whole TN Volunteer thing where Gruden camp conveniently kept quiet and let the rumors fly. Nothing wrong with it, just sayin

Talked to a source with knowledge of the the #Bears process. On coach Lovie Smith: "It's not looking good." #Staytuned
