Boldin Injury?

There's been a lot of critics of Boldin on this board the last few weeks and people saying he can't catch. He sure could catch yesterday. He's not a big TD guy but he sure can move the chains when used effectively.

He's Mason w/ more meat on his bones. I love the the YAC he delivers, even if it is only the full extension of his body as he hits the ground. Joe was hitting him on crossing and underneath routes (remember those?) in very tight windows. A tougher, rip-stop nylon, security blanket, if you will.

that criticism [of Boldin] has been warranted. He has dropped a ton of balls this season. With how streaky Joe has been, he really needs guys to hold on to the ball when he puts it on them. Boldin gets paid like a top receiver in the game. He needs to hold on to the ball most games like he did against the Giants and that isn't the case.

Yes, the Dude has had some drops (as have such diverse receivers as Pitta, Torey Smith, Ray Rice, Jones, etc.)
Of that list including Boldin, Q is the most likely to successfully carry the team on his back for a series or longer (e.g. AZ home 2010 or final drive in AFCCG 2012).
