Can the Steelers win the division?

Just heard Simms and Nantz say the Steelers could win the North. How is that possible? The Ravens and Bengals cannot both lose out?

I think the Steelers win out the Bengals beat the Ravens and the Ravens lose to the giants. Its possible, though not probable.

If Cinc, Pitt and Balto all end at 9-7, Steelers win the division. Best head to head record.

That's incorrect. Ravens win on better division record

Head to head is the round robin between the 3 tied teams...Us, Steelers and Bengals.

Not the entire, overall division record which would include the Browns.

The Steelers would go 3-1, Us 2-2, and the Bengals 1-3 in that scenario.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Ok thanks, I thought head to head would be tied and if so it reverts to next tiebreaker which is division wins.
Isn't going to matter anyway ;)

That makes next week a big game for the Ravens no matter what happens today. Either we're playing for the division, or we're playing to make a statement to them if we face them in the play-offs later.

Now we need to take care of business at least one of these next 2 games.

Will the media now call throwing a interception"pulling a br"? Br has lost the last two games for the steelers, will the media notice? Hell no, the steelers will be watching the playoffs from home.
