Props To Caldwell
What an awesome game plan by Caldwell. It was obvious that they were going after Corey Webster from the beginning. Good mix of run and pass, and spreading the ball around. I also gotta give Flacco props for executing the game plan to perfection.
And while I'm spreading the love around, the D also played their asses off. Awesome game all around for the ravens."I don't know a man on this Earth who can outwork me". Ray Lewis

Re: Props To Caldwell
Obviously, Jim Caldwell just needed a week to warm up.

Open receivers! Haven't seen that since....forever!

Re: Props To Caldwell
In seriousness, I saw about a half dozen plays that Cam would have rarely called. Joe may have the option to audible out of one play and into another, but you could tell that there were some options there that you weren't accustomed to seeing.
What is the point of having more control if it is only control of garbage?
They actually sent WRs across the middle of the field. They actually gave Flacco a fallback option at WR/TE, instead of just Ray Rice. They actually sent Ray Rice out in space more."Please take with you this final sword, The Excellector. I am praying that your journey will be guided by the light", Leon Shore

But i though Caldwell couldnt call plays because he never did in Indy. ;)

Re: Props To Caldwell
I will give him props for sure. It starts with Rice and getting him enough touches; you have to stick with the run game for the playaction to work. He also had some creative quick slants and even ran the freakin option for a first down. They had the Gnats on their heels from the start with the fast pace.

Mixing it up constantly
We even discovered Boldin in the slot and not 40 yds down the field :)

Re: Props To Caldwell
What a difference a Coordinator makes. The OL didn't have to hold blocks for an eternity. Quick hitting passes to WR, hot routes on blitzes, open receivers. Wow!

Re: Props To Caldwell
They picked on Webster with about three different WRs. Cameron wouldn't have even picked on him with one.

Re: Props To Caldwell
Probably the best the offense has looked in a while. Mixed up rushing and passing and USED THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD!!.
533 total yards of offense in the NFL is nothing to sneeze at.

Re: Props To Caldwell
Oher was not good today, a weakness on an otherwise really good day by the offense.
