This team is a dangerous crossroad. The defense IMHO won't be up to previous standards for a while IMHO without a LOT of personel changes. The offense and our franchise QB has NOT taken the step up that we had all known had to happen if this team was to compete.

You're right, it's very interesting to see on how far they go down the rabbit hole. The drafts have not been good enough recently, so there's that pressure as well. The aftermath of 2007 was more of a coaching change as the team was already largely intact or totally empty anyway. This team isn't.

We could be looking at a total new team - including no Lewis and no Reed. Or perhaps just a patch up.

    Come on Ravens...do something, anything.

The real shame of the season is that we'll probably not get a special teams like this again in our lifetime. Our special teams this year is the equivalent of the 2000 defense.

Think the OL has been ok? Rice has barely averaged 3 yards per carry.

If there is a sacrificial lamb here I would guess it could potentially be Eric Decosta. Lets face it he has not been as successful as some of his predecessors. Not saying he has been awful or that he has not hit on some guys but some of the depth has not shown an ability to step and play at a high level.
