    Not a good sign...

...when Josh Bynes is the guy with the headset QB-ing the defense.

If they can't get some guys back on defense, and they field the same group as in Washington, it's gonna be a blowout

If we get Ellerbe back, I won't be as worried.

Why isn't Pollard the guy with the head set?

To me it wouldn't make sense having the safety make the calls. The ILB is in the middle of everyone and close to the line.

Ellerbe had limited reps yesterday, hopefully he can go. Suggs had full participation, hopefully he can go. It doesn't matter who has the speakers and is giving the calls to the guys on the field. Pees is making the calls, the guy communicates it to the rest of the players. No biggie. The more important thing, obviously, is who is on the field. The guy communicating the call from Pees is a small detail.

    I disagree with that.

Pollard plays up around the LOS a lot and is one of the vocal leaders on the entire team.

Yeah, I agree that he plays up a lot in the Cover 3 type looks, and he is a leader. But the guy with the radio is just relaying what Pees calls.

"Say the offense has three wides and the safety gets run off way down the field on a deep route," defensive coordinator Brian Stewart says. "Now he has to sprint back to the huddle and tell everybody what the call is. The linebacker is more often around the middle of the field."

    From an article I found.

There are few occasions where I would pick my team to get blown out. Thi sis mot 1 of them. We have 1 of the most resilient teams in the league. We will find a way to keep it tight and possibly get the win.
