Crazy talk. Harbs is fine. I don't particularly love the man, but he's not going anywhere involuntarily.

one thought on offense/defense; the days of holding NFL teams under 17 points is gone. any decent team will score 20 (remember the Raiders did). part of the D problem yesterday was the O's three/outs, as well as the turnovers.
I sure hope Coach Caldwell put bring some of his Indy/Peyton mojo to work here!
thats what i'm hoping for myself, Imma little leary with Jim because he has never been an OC but I trust this FO knows what it is doing.

Harbaugh is on three years notice ;)

Nothing, Harbs stays either way. All Biscuit/Oz/Harnaugh want to see what to do about Flacco, so they have to rule out Cam Cameron is being the problem.

I know the source NCRaven is referring to. I'm just posting what that source has said. Believe it if you want.

This is a very well, thought-out post. Lots of good information and grounded speculation here.

My only quibble (or the one thing I want to quibble about here) is this:

To me, the biggest risk is that 3, 4 or 5 games is a damn small sample size to judge a player or a coach.

And is your playoff calculations correct? Has that been confirmed anywhere?

I agree with most of the board that you can't really blame Pees given the list of major injuries (which it should be noted have before this week almost exclusively come on defense).

But I think if the offense doesn't show some signs of life, the purge may not be over on that side of the ball. Moeller probably needs to go regardless but Hostetler may not be far behind.

And they might also want to re-evaluate their back-end-of-the-roster policies--how many good backups have they passed on in favor of a player who might be slightly better at special teams?

    WNST ‏@WNST
@DonsAndDukes Drew: Don't need to cite them. That would be unfair to them. Bisciotti was directly involved. End of story.
    WNST ‏@WNST
Drew: #Bisciotti has been "sketchy" (words of a source) all season about this #Ravens team...expected a lot more from them

It is WNST, but wonder if it's all the same source!

The only way Harbs is going is if he's lost the locker room.
