Does this hurt his draft stock?
Hear that? It's the sound of Ozzie taking Te'o's name off the big board.

To be fair, he probably had move his name back to late first early 2nd round as it is after the Alabama game.

Seriously though, I wouldn't touch this kid with a barge pole now. It would probably take a drop to the 3rd round to convince me at this point.

Me either. Give me Matt Elam or Eric Fisher.

I'm actually quitely hoping we re-sign Bryant McKinnie on a 1 year deal and draft a Matt Elam or a Margus Hunt/Enzikiel Ansah in the first round. We need impact defensive players IMO.

That works for me too. I think Elam could be a day 1 starter at FS.

What about Jonathan Hankins guys? What are the chances he drops? I've seen some recent mock drafts with him going to the 9ers at 29/30... He could be a steal at that point, and is a day 1 starter at NT. Would love him as a first rounder. Big tough guy from Ohio.

Notre Dane released a statement saying that Te'o was a victim of an elaborate hoax. They don't say much more after that.
