Re: New draft/FA/offseason thread
Me either, especially not where we'd have to take him. He's gonna be a rock solid Center or guard but probably never a pro bowl caliber player. I think you only take interior lineman early if they have upside that suggest they can be that type of player. Unless your draft board is shot.

Re: New draft/FA/offseason thread
I just hope the Ravens stop the musical chairs on the offensive line for good. Make up your mind with Oher and put him at LT or Rt. Do the same thing with KO, either G or T. Make a decision and stick with it and build from there.

Re: New draft/FA/offseason thread
Watching teams like Seattle and Arizona makes me envious. We need some young studs on defense. Hopefully we draft a linebacker and safety in the first 2 rounds. Hopefully Reid or Elam and Ogletree or Minter would be sweet. Also, a NT in the 3rd round would be the icing on the cake. I don't know if it happens but I can dream.

Bama linebacker C.J. Mosley was the best defender in that game. Really impressive dude. Explosive, rangy and physical. Good combo!Daniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks
I'm not a huge Te'o fan but he's still a solid player. James Laurinaitis had numerous games like last night and he is a solid pro.Daniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks
On pure ability, Te'o is probably a high 2nd round pick. He'll go in the first b/c of smarts/leadership. That matters at that position.Daniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks
"@RochesRWinners: Ok, but do you draft "a solid pro" with a top-5 pick?" > heck no. Never said that. He'll prob go in 20'sDaniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks
"@sandman1145: Solid pro yes, game changer no"> been my take since i watched the 1st tapeDaniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks
"@mikem1202: CJ Mosley >>Manti Te'o" Yes. By a good margin.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Could see him dropping. Honestly, I wouldnt be shocked if Minter or Ogletree went before Te'o.

Re: New draft/FA/offseason thread
Def. possible, both may have more upside. Te'o might have locked himself into predominate 3-4 teams. Still would take him in the first if he got to our pick. I still think he has more range then Mcclain and he is comfortable in coverage, just not an insane amount of upside to overcome his defensive line getting dominated like Alabama did last night.

Anybody have a guess what round Hubbard might go in if he declares? Not a finished product but boy does he have the tools!
