I think Harbaugh would make a great college HC, but is not as well suited to be an NFL HC.

There is no disadvantage in going for two there, you fail you're up 7, they still need a TD, you get it you're up 9 and the game is over.

I would have gone for two as well, but it's not an obvious decision and there is definitely a downside to going for two there. By kicking the XP, you need to stop the Skins for ONE play to win- even if they march all the way down the field and score a TD. I wouldn't have faith in our D to do that, but then again do you have much faith in Cameron to get the 2 point conversion? Because I don't. It was a difficult call, but ultimately one I would have done differently.

The more egregious errors were 1). Not trying to score at the end of the first half with 40 seconds remaining and 2 time outs up only 7, and 2). calling time out on that fake-punt fiasco.

I get that, I really do. But "you play to win the game". Not going for two is admitting you play not to lose.

The interception was a bad play by the oline. Osmele blocked down and let Kerrigan come in untouched. That was an error on Osmele. The sack is one where the offense did not recognize the blitz and they got Flacco from behind when he was moving out to his right. Later on the TD drive he beat that same look with the pass to Boldin crossing behind the blitz. The fumble Flacco needed to step up and get rid of the ball. Oher got beat pretty cleanly but Joe still held the ball to long and should have stepped up on the pocket.

With this offensive line? Seriously? You kick the PAT and make the other guys go for 2 just to tie.

You mean the o-line that let Rice just run in untouched for a TD the play before?

    Yeah that o-line.

The OL definately has its issues, but Flacco is making them look worse then they are by holding onto the ball way too long. He has to recognize the game situation and the nature of the opponent. On the INT, when he sees Kerrigan flanked out wide, he has to recognize that he is blitzing on that play. The ball had to come out within 2 seconds or he was going to get hit. Flacco had to have a quick hitting play called, or audibled to a quick slant or he had to take the sack. Even if he had taken a sack in that situation, the Ravens would have still been in FG range. It was the same situation on the Polomolu sack/fumble against the Steelers in 2010. Flacco had to realize that the only way the Ravens lose that game is if he turns the ball over in that situation.

Wait, Harbaugh should have elected to kick off in OT? Seriously?

that's why I am expecting a ton of Ray Rice / Pierce against Denver. The Oline is pretty decent in run blocking especially the stretch plays. Plus they have to get the play action going to open up some receivers. It's not rocket science

I'm just wondering if Captain Silver gave Harbs any props for firing the OC?
After 5 years of early exits, the journey is finally complete.
