Against the Steelers this Sunday, when the 1st Down play gained 3 yards or less (leaving the Ravens with 2nd and 7 or more)

2 out of 3 times (P) 66%
1 out of 2 times (P) 50%
1 out of 4 times (FG) 25%
2 out of 5 times (FG) 20%
1 out of 2 times (INT) 50%
1 out of 3 times (TD) 33%
2 out of 2 times (P) 100%
2 out of 3 times (TD) 66%
1 out of 2 times (P) 50%
0 out of 1 times (FMB) 0%
1 out of 2 times (P) 50%

TOTAL
14 out of 29 times 48%

On drives where we gained 3 yards or less on 1st down LESS than 50% of the time we scored 2 FG and 1 TD (and yes had 1 fumble)

On drives where we gained 3 yards or less on 1st down MORE than 50% we scored 1 TD, punted 5 times and had 1 INT

Something tells me it isn't a coincidence that on drives where we gained 3 yards or less on 1st down often we usually didn't score, but on drives where we gained more than 3 yards on 1st down often, WE USUALLY DID.
