Leach's pancacke of Hampton
Looking on the bright side, Leach's pancake block on Hampton makes my all-time top 5. The man is a tank. And he can catch the ball. UFB.

That was an incredible play. The unstoppable force completely dominated the immovable object.

Our 260 pound fullback can do what our 310 center can't?
Brilliant

Re: Leach's pancacke of Hampton
Kinetic energy + leverage = IHOP breakfast special. Leach had a full head of steam coming out of the backfield (that good ol' one-half-emm-vee-squared) & Hampton got caught trying to change direction & therefore slightly off balance--it looks to me on the close-up slo-mo that when VL turned into him Hampton was the most surprised person in the stadium. Give Birk (or any OLman) the same advantages & it's flapjack time.
That's definitely one for the all-time highlight reel....
