Dickson doesnt seem to have those drop issues this year...

Just saying, just because someone messes up in his sophmore year, doesnt mean he should never play again.

    See Martellus Bennett.

Yea. He's definitely had those drop issues this year, that is, when he's on the field.

Let's take a quick look at Cam through the years. I'm not usually a big stats guy because it doesn't tell the whole story.
I gathered some notes of Cam in the lat 10-11 years... For Passing TD's average was 22-25 and never over 28...

    2002 SD: O Rank 16th (yds) 20th (PT's); Passing 3188; Rushing 2137, 19 (TD's)
    2003 SD: O Rank 14th (yds) 16th (PT's); Passing 3021; Rushing 2146, 16 (TD's)
    2004 SD: O Rank 10th (yds) 3rd (PT's); Passing 3357; Rushing 2185, 24 (TD's)
    2005 SD: O Rank 10th (yds) 5th (PT's); Passing 3495; Rushing 2072, 22 (TD's)
    2006 SD: O Rank 4th (yds) 1st (PT's); Passing 3262; Rushing 2578, 32 (TD's)

2007 Miami HC who really cares 1-15 ( Beat us though)

    2008 BR: O Rank 18th (yds) 11th (PT's); Passing 2808; Rushing 2376, 16 (TD's)
    2009 BR: O Rank 9th (yds) 13th (PT's); Passing 3419; Rushing 2200 22 (TD's)
    2010 BR: O Rank 16th (yds) 22nd (PT's); Passing 3335; Rushing 1831 11 (TD's)
    2011 BR: O Rank 12th (yds) 15th (PT's); Passing 3423; Rushing 1996 15 (TD's)

So looking at the above stats, Cam is consistently mediocre with a few good years that were because of the run and good defense under Wade Phillips. When averaging over 2000 (yds) and 22 TD's rushing in a season his Offenses seem to be decent, but who wouldn't benefit from LT in his prime, it is easy to run the ball with a Hall of Fame RB humping the rock with a sledge hammer leading the way (Lorenzo Neal).
His offenses never seem to pass for over 3500 (yds) or 25 (TD's), which is plenty if you are rushing for over 2000 and 25 TD's. Either way you can go up and down the field all day, but if you can't get into the endzone or maintain some momentum than it effects the entire game, constant 3 and outs will not get you a W.

    Re: Fire cam

I'm reading the same bullsh*t I heard a year ago after the Seattle game Ray (5-27) and Ricky Williams (3-8). Of course David Reed had 1 for 16yds and Torrey also had 1 for 16yds. When he doesn't know what to do with the running game, he calls an end around and did 2 of them in that game.
I heard it last year, I'm hearing it again this year, and we will hear it next year if Malcolm stays.

He is good at what he does, he is terrible at in game adjusting, and he admits fault when the firing squad appears with a blindfold. I'm tired, I'm very tired moving toward camapathy which is surprisingly similar to angelosapathy.

One reason I am a fan of the NFL in general and know what is going on with other teams. The Raven's can only be counted on for so much. With this head coach and his choices of coaches and coordinators, it is only a matter of time before at some point they shit the bed and waste a team with huge talent.

Long as the Steeler's or Patriot's don't win it all, I can find comfort in that. Hell I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton taking on Eli in the Super Bowl and winning another ring.

Take what Cam did in SD with a grain of salt. That was Shottenheimer's offense, not Cams.

I dunno...it's pretty hard to take 5 years of an OC's career and just ignore it.

That's how i look at it. I guess since we have no shot at the #1 seed anymore, I'm hoping houston wins out.

Couple that with your best offensive play maker being forgotten about from time to time and a struggling (and injured) defense that you want to keep off the field as much as possible.

How in the hell can a bunch of arm chair QBs see and understand what's wrong, but the people getting paid big bucks to figure this stuff out and implement corrections can't?

Earlier today Davis & Norris had Keion Carpenter on for an interview and were asking him about what he thought about what is taking place here.
As a former NFL DB he said playing against this offense is by far the easiest to defend.
    Very predictable with no deception.
Easy to play off the line because the film shows you everything including tendencies which in his eyes we have way too many that occur continually with little wavering.
He said that if he can see it just by watching some Ravens games here and there when he gets them on TV down in Atlanta, then he damn sure knows every coach and player having to game plan against them sees it.

    Brilliant!!!
Reading this actually made me sad. Also confused as to why everyone can see this but we remain the same and our coaches hide behind "execution". One play that stood out for me against Pitt was broken down by Dean Pees on the show Game Plan, where Pitt went against a screen tendency and Heath Miller streaked over the middle. WHAT!?!?! Deception??? Cam you are allowed to put wrinkles into your offense!

Wow, First i gotta say, "I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOARD". RESPECT FELLOW RAVENS FANS!!
My thoughts, first i hate living in shitsburgh after a lost. I was shocked that, Flacco was off, Rice didn't get 90 yds, and we didn't use the middle, which shoudn't be a shock, cause we don't use it anyway. But man, did everything just let me down. Coaching, crowd,Flacco, gameplan both sides. It was a bad feeling for me, worst then the Hou beating. At home, i aleast thought we would play to blow them out. As players stated, we should've had way more points. But better routes as all here have showed would making more points easier. Sure if we do catch all those 9 routes we will get the pts, but that's tough to do in today's NFL.

Now i never really bash cam, but being HERE, opened my eyes to this issue. I'm tired of seeing the same shit. And i agreed with the majority here, we should've dropped cam 2 or last yr ago. IMO, i think Steve B really did'nt want cam back and defended his # at the press conference start of yr. I still have hope we win the superbowl, somehow. Yes i'm stoned but not dumb, we have communications and executions problems. But i hope, lol.

I think cam will be gone no matter if we win the superbowl or not. Steve B or Flacco will push that issue. They i think will need to see Joe in a more today's offense. That Miller streak, cause they showing screen play is what today's nfl do..I would'nt mind Cadwell but i would rather have a young gun calling plays. No turner for me either.

Hope we can win the beltway battle. purple pride, i bleed purple Go RAVENS
