Upshaw's already out there playing DT on passing downs. Ngata moves into the nose where pass rush is less important than simply compressing the pocket to prevent Batch from stepping up. (See Kruger's sack where he blasted Batch from behind because Batch was contained by Upshaw to the outside and Ngata from the front. Originally Posted by Random Thoughts

I'd prefer the D Line to just rush as hard as possible because Batch is 0 threat outside of the pocket.

Pitt hasn't allowed 300 yards of offense in several weeks. We need 110 in the second half to break that. They haven't allowed net 170 yards passing in 6 weeks, Flacco needs 35 to break that.
