RT @Aaron_Nagler: RT @lookin2carve: Per 610 KCSP the player involved is Jovan Belcher, peace to his family.
KCSP is KC's local station.

All I can say is "Why?"
Why do people feel the need to do this?
Even at it's worst, life is still the greatest gift in the world. I guess I'll never understand.
I hope those in KC can find some way to cope with this.

NFL,com reporting a related second shooting off site.
My 1st thought (besides sadness) was "Is this a Rae Carruthers type situation?" Don't know how the Chiefs could play Carolina @ Arrowhead tomorrow and show up emotionally/mentally.

*smh* ...what can you do?
Besides the obvious, I feel badly for Romeo. A classy and incredibly nice man. This is going to hit him especially hard."The Ravens are not taking Jimmy Smith at 26!" -- Me, the day before the 2011 Draft
"On their way to the podium, the Ravens FO is going to collectively step over my dead body and select...Breshad Perriman." -- Me, the day before the 2015 Draft

Very sad day that puts things in perspective. After feeling incredibly sad for Belcher's family and teammates and of course his child, I can't help but wonder if this too has to do with head trauma. Just a sad day.Follow me on Twitter @RSRLombardi
