He's really a 4-3 player and has been weak when it comes to rushing the passer. What would you do with him? Who would sit for Babin and in what situations would that happen?

Nope, never thought I'd say this, but we're good with Kruger and Upshaw. They have both stepped their games upon a big way of late, so no point to throw money on a washed up pass rusher. Besides, Babin is a bad scheme fit for us.

I agree that Babin is a poor scheme fit for the Ravens, but the guy did have 18 sacks last season and has 5.5 sacks this season. I think some team will claim him off waivers before the Ravens would even have a chance to get him anyway. I am not ready to say that Babin is washed up from last season to this one. The Eagles are a mess, which could have contributed to his drop in production.

One drawback for Babin for some teams will be cap space -need about $2m to claim him. a team like Ravens, who need rusher, wouldnt have it

Good point. So, maybe he clears waivers due to the cap hit. If he clears waivers, the Ravens could use him as a DE on obvious pash rushing situations.

The Ravens were playing against some poor OL in those games though.

Gotta consider the talent, or lack thereof on the other side as well...

Only if we get some of those new micheal vick concussion dolls that will be hitting the market shortly. Oh, a couple crates of new footballs too. No thanks, if it isn't broke(like the eagles) don't go after what could be.

Touche guys... Still pass. I think were getting stronger/healthier and the results will be similar regardless.
