    Re: Jacoby Jones

The guy makes some key plays, and people are already running him out of town because of a dropped pass because of PAST REPUTATION!... how many dropped passes does Torrey get a pass for? It's another classic case of "I TOLD YOU SO!".

    Lee Evans.... plllleeeeassseee.

My only peeve with Jacoby is that he isn't Ed Reed II when the ball is in his hands. Trying to do too much to make plays.

Otherwise I love this kid and he'll be here for many years.

No one on this thread has come close to "running him out of town".

That was in no way, shape or form a "drop".

And 3 of his 5 catches went for 1st downs and extended drives to help them win the game.
I watched that play plenty Ravor and a 6' 2" WR needs to box out Huff and make that play.

As for yesterday. He came on strong, late, like the rest of the offense, not a bad game at all. Who knows, however, what tone could have been set if that drive were able to continue.

Jones and Smith scares teams Boldin doesnt period. Even in the AFCCG NE had Edelman covering Boldin on the last drive.

Question: Name a receiver who didn't have a retutation of dropping passes, who dropped the biggest pass of his life?

I think you mean "is". If so, I agree with this - and that his running-style, and the way he holds the ball, leaves him suspectible to having it stripped.

I don't know, that's kind of hard to do when your coming out of your break and the ball is already in the air - and it's thrown behind you. Looks to me like he did just about everything he could to knock it down. It most certainly doesn't qualify as "he dropped one that he should have caught", as you originally said.

Sorry, I think you are grading unnecessarily harshly on that play.

Yes, for he and Evans (although, TJ's wasn't a TD pass to win the game!).

My bad. I did mean "is."
